Come Join the Fun! Free Breakfast and Live Band
Come out and Run or Walk the 5K RUN FOR THE GENERATIONS to benefit Cincinnati Area Senior Services. The weather in September is comfortable and the event is designed to be relaxing, fun and memorable. There will be a live band and an outgoing and energetic group of volunteers who will aim to make everyone's experience enjoyable. Invite your friends to be alongside of you and bring the whole family. Walkers and Strollers welcomed! When you support CASS, you help meet the immediate needs of seniors who need support and resources.
Beneficiary:
Proceeds benefit Cincinnati Area Senior Services such as Meals-on-Wheels and transportation to Greater Cincinnati Seniors.
About Cincinnati Area Senior Services:
Cincinnati Area Senior Services is a non-profit agency that eliminates barriers that prevent seniors from keeping their independence. We provide financial management, transportation, Meals-On-Wheels, guardianship, congregate meals and the social interaction seniors need to stay connected to society. CASS continues to be Greater Cincinnati’s leader in providing support services to seniors in the Cincinnati community. Requests for our services are increasing; however, funding is not keeping pace with the growing number of seniors who request help daily with food, financial management, transportation, and social programs. CASS relies on community support and the financial contributions of those who believe in supporting aging adults who need help.
Course:
An accurate, professionally measured 3.1 mile scenic loop course winds through beautiful Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum.
Run Divisions:
11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.
Walk Divisions:
29/under, 30-39, 40-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65-74 and 75/over.
Awards:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female Runners. 1st place male and female walker. Age group awards to top male and female runners and walkers in each division. Overall 1st place winners do not qualify for age group awards.
Awards Ceremony:
Begins at 9:45 a.m in Spring Grove Dining Hall
After the Race:
Stay for free breakfast, awards ceremony, and entertainment
RUN FOR THE GENERATIONS 5K will allow participants to honor a senior by walking or running in their honor. The race is intended to celebrate seniors, to show them how much they are loved and cherished. Participants will have the option to write family or individual names of seniors they want to honor on their race bib. The race provides an opportunity for people to remember seniors they love in a way that brings together community and promotes health and vitality.

Pre-Registration Fee:
Pre-Registration: $25 adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. Kids 5 and under are free. T-Shirts are available for $10 while supplies last.
Special Group/Team Rates:
Add or join a team and get a $5 discount when there are 5 or more on the team. Kids 12 and under can join a team but discount applies to regular-priced registrations only.
Late/Race Day Registration Fee:
$30 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. T-shirts will be available for $15 while supplies last.
Race Shirts:
Long-Sleeved Race T-shirts are optional and are available for $10 (must sign up for T-Shirt by: August 16th) to guarantee size) If you would like a t-shirt, be sure to pre-register. T-shirts are $15 race day.

Online Pre-Registration is available through Thursday, September 5, 2019. A small service fee will be added to your bill.

Register by Printing a PDF Race Flyer and Mailing. Mail-in registrations must be post-marked by Monday, September 2, 2019.
Late Online Registration:
Online late registration will be available through Friday, September 6, 2019 at race day prices
Race Day Registration/Packet Pick-Up:
Race Day Registration and packet pick up will be from 7:30 - 8:45 am at Spring Grove. There is no advance pick-up for this event.

Chip Timing
Once again, this year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags. All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must properly attach shoe tag to your shoe. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-useable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you must agree to return it for reuse. Check out the video to see how to properly attach your timing chip.
